Medard Sison, DNP, is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A California native, he earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Touro University Nevada. Motivated by witnessing loved ones struggle with inadequate mental health care in underserved communities, Medard entered the field to make a meaningful difference by empowering individuals to effectively understand and manage their conditions.

 

Drawing from his 8+ years of professional mental health experience, his expertise spans ADHD, depression, anxiety, acute stress, panic disorder, PTSD, and adult-geriatric mental health. Employing a patient-centered, team-based approach, he integrates psychotherapeutic techniques and psychotropic medications to optimize patient outcomes, while continually updating his knowledge with the latest treatments. In his free time, Medard enjoys spending time with his family, going on vacations, and attending his children's sports events. Currently, Medard teaches as a university professor, manages multiple offices, and serves on the leadership team at Progeny Psychiatric Clinic.
