Francis Mae Magdadaro, NP

Francis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 16+ years experience as a registered nurse. She received her Master’s in Science of Nursing with a post Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Charles R. Drew University. She began her nursing career at Napa State Hospital where she spent 6 years caring for the geriatric population with mental illness and has experience working alongside treatment teams as a risk management specialist. Francis’ experience includes roles in several fields in nursing including psychiatric/forensic nursing, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, sub-acute nursing, intensive care, medical-surgical/telemetry and most recently in medical oncology. She has also mentored as a PMHNP student in Psycho-Oncology at City of Hope National Medical Center.


From her vast nursing background, Francis has found psychiatry as her calling and would like to pursue providing care in mental health. Having received her degree, she attains to help the community to fill the need in psychiatric mental health care providers. Francis believes in providing holistic care, and practices conscientious patient care.
